Chicken, Beef or Vegetable broth | 1 cup | 1 tsp/ 5 ml chicken, beef, or vegetable bouillon granules (or 1 cube) dissolved in 1 cup/ 250 ml boiling water |
Buttermilk or Sour Milk | 1 cup/ 250 ml | 1 tbsp/ 15 ml lemon juice or white vinegar plus enough milk to make 1 cup / 250 ml. Let stand a few minutes. Or use 1 cup/ 250 ml plain yogurt |
